Beautiful old apartment in the heart of Munich

Jørgensen Living was commissioned to transform a former shared flat into a stylish and characterful old apartment.

With respect for the historical substance, a furnishing concept was created that combines classic elegance with modern comfort. Together with the client, I developed all aspects of the design – from the selection of ornate stucco decorations to a finely tuned color concept and the complete interior design.

A central element of the project was the custom-made furniture and decorative elements. For example, the dining table, matching chairs, a custom-made bench, all curtains and cushions as well as selected wallpaper were specially designed or carefully chosen for this apartment – always with the aim of optimally emphasizing the architectural features and giving the home a distinctive character.

Dark wood types set specific accents, give the rooms depth and emphasize a masculine yet elegant atmosphere. The interplay of tailor-made solutions, high-quality materials and well thought-out spatial planning led to a result that radiates openness, tranquillity and sophistication – entirely in keeping with the client’s lifestyle and vision.
