My guide for a spring table decoration
The ingredients for a noble table setting – step by step. Made in collaboration with NOUI NOUI.
I love taking time to create a beautiful environment because that makes all the difference in the experience of coming together.
Here’s my step-by-step guide for styling a seasonal table setting.
No. 1: Choose a color scheme
I designed a spring table that is all about pastels and bright colors, so choose a color scheme that reflects the season. Some popular spring colors are light pink, blue, green and soft yellow.
No. 2: Bring nature into play
Spring is the time of growth, so you should include fresh greenery in your table decorations. You can use potted plants or cut flowers to bring a touch of nature to your table.
For this table I used fresh tulips and small flowers in light pink from the garden.
No. 3: Layers of linen and textiles
Ground the table with tablecloths, placemats and napkins and add a textural element.
For this table, I used linen tablecloths and napkins. The natural fibers of linen create a subtle texture that looks and feels luxurious.
I also added practical yet beautiful placemats from Noui Noui in earth tones.
No. 4: Add some special touches
Add a special touch to your table with candles or a centerpiece, for example. These small details can have a big impact on the overall look of your table setting. I love using vintage dinnerware for a personal touch, and mixing it with modern dinnerware can help you set a curated and eclectic table. It’s a great way to show off your individual style and personality.
