From lawyer to interior design consultant
Below, I’ll share some insights from my journey as I transition from a legal career to my passion for interior design.
What I like the most…
The ability to turn creative visions into living spaces and the joy of working with customers.
Which was really difficult at the beginning…
Overcoming self-doubt.
Moving from a well-established legal career to a completely new industry felt like a step into the unknown.
Impostor syndrome crept in and questioned whether I had the right skills and knowledge.
But perseverance and the will to learn helped me to overcome these doubts and embrace the learning curve.
What I am proud of/what I have mastered…
With determination, hard work and a clear vision, I not only realize my design dreams, but also promote the growth of a company.
What I would recommend to anyone thinking about doing the same….
Have an open mind, use the challenges as opportunities to broaden your horizons and don’t underestimate the value of your existing skills!
